Felix-225x225In addition to Fatal Remedy, her first novel, Antonia Felix is the New York Times bestselling author of fifteen nonfiction books including, Sonia Sotomayor: The True American Dream (Berkley/Penguin USA), Condi: The Condoleezza Rice Story (Newmarket Press), Wesley K. Clark: A Biography (Newmarket Press), and Laura: America’s First Lady, First Mother (Adams Media). Her music biographies include, Andrea Bocelli: A Celebration (St. Martin’s Press) and Wild About Harry: The Illustrated Biography of Harry Connick, Jr.

Ms. Felix has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, FoxNews, BBC, SkyNews, NPR, Sirux X|M, CBS Radio, and many other TV and radio networks, and is a popular public speaker on women in politics. Her research and writing on international women’s rights has given her opportunities to moderate and served on panels about women’s rights at the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives.

Antonia earned an MFA in Creative Writing-Fiction from Wichita State University and an MA in English Language and Literature from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. As an educator, she has taught English, Creative Writing, and a humanities course on public intellectuals at Emporia State University and Hamline University. Ms. Felix is also a professional classical singer who has performed in opera, concert, and recital in Paris, Moscow, Prague, New York, Minneapolis, and several other cities. La Divina, her new play about opera legend Maria Callas, will be produced by Minnesota Concert Opera and premiered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in March 2015.
